I just adore the heavy guitar riffs on Jugulator, my favorites on the album being Cathedral Spires, Bloodstained and Bullet Train.  One review called it "brutal and mechanistic" which is ok by me!

It's true, though, that it does have a different energy than the albums with Rob on vocals.  No disrespect to Tim, he has a great voice, but when I listen to Jugulator I find myself missing Rob!

Jugulator is a fair metal album in it's own right!!!! For me though it's just not Priest!!!! Although I do love the title track, Bloodstained and Cathedral Spires!!!!

It gets better each time I listen to it. Pretty good album. The best song on the album is Cathedral Spires, and it is one of my all time favorite songs. Bullet Train, Dead Meat, Death Row and Burn in Hell are all great too.

I quite love Jugulator;the songs I like the most are Jugulator,Bloodstained,Burn in hell,Bullet train and Cathedral spires.
Some people are
not used to the singer but I like Ripper Owens' singing.

I quite like Jugulator so far, I just got it after being a huge fan of Halford era Priest and ignoring the Ripper stuff.  Best song is "Abductors" in my oppinion.. I mean, how can you not like "THEY PARALYZE AND THEY MENTALLY RAPE YOU!" in a song about aliens?? Pretty killer in my book.  Also, it may just be me, but Scott and Ian really shine on this record, especially compared to other Priest albums.  Although the guitar solos are dissapointing and the intros are funny but stupid...

Excellent. Ripper Owens is a great singer, he has the balls to sing under the shadow of Halford.

Bullet Train is without doubt the best track on the album!! Another great Priest album that belongs in my collection.

Strangely enough, Bullet Train and Cathedral Spires were my favorites when I got the album. Now Death Row and Bullet Train are my favs. Burn in Hell is great fun too. Strangely enough, I didn't think bad of JP when Jugulator came out. I thought it was a natural consequence of the changes in music that went beyond the change of vocalists in a band at the time. Anyone that missed JP live with Ripper Owens were fools or bored out of the music scene.

Great album. Scott's drumming on that album has to be his best with Priest. The album cover was intense but the graphics was cheesie.
