Has to be Hammersmith, London. second would be Brixton Academy, London. Both great venues and plenty of rock n roll history. |

In Toronto, I think the best place to see any BIG name band would be The Molson because the staff are really nice, and if you have a seat on the floor, you can hang out in the front (provided that those who have front row tickets don't mind), plus it's a bit smaller, so it's a more intimate show. However, I hate the ACC, the staff there are assholes who will send you on a wild goose chase while you're trying to get to the right section, plus being on the floor sucks unless you're at the front, it's also really packed in, so you don't have room to move around. The audiences are also different at the venues. I was at an Ozzy Osbourne/Rob Zombie concert in January at the ACC, and when Ozzy says "Go Fuckin Crazy", you better believe I go fuckin crazy, the guy beside me was not so into that, he said he was gonna kick my ass if I didn't calm down. August 2007, I saw Poison and Ratt at the Molson, my seat was row 12, but I saw the show in row 1!!! really nice staff, and a great and friendly crowd!!!! Yup, thats the drive-in theater turned Swap-Meet. I'll see the pavilion for myself probably the week before the concert, just to figure out how to get there. I had great seats for the Mayhem Fest. I was 5 rows from the PIt. left side and i was close. I dont think the pit will be as big at Metal masters. Cause my seats would put me there. It was all day action at glen helen. And in the daylight it doesnt look that big. THe sound is Killer there. Every time the guitars sound awesome. |

Until I see the Glen Helen Pavilion for myself on Aug. 30th, for now my favorite venue will have to be the small outdoor venue in a place called the Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet. The Swap Meet is HUGE, and there are quite alot of stands that sell Heavy Metal gear (leather accessories, band patches, band shirts, etc). The venue is at the center of the Swap Meet, and its pretty small, with bleachers for seats, a small "pit" and a decently-sized stage (to be honest, only Scottie's gear would be able to fit on the stage if JP performed there :P). Tribute bands from around the region perform quite alot in that venue, but I never got to see them (usually because they're done by the time my family and I arrive at the place). There was one tribute band of KISS called God of Thunder, an AC/DC one called Highway to Hell, and an Aerosmith one (called Aeromyth) will perform in that venue next week. I saw an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band perform there while I was on vacation this spring, and it ROCKED! However, I can't wait until the Metal Masters concert to see the energy and excitement a gigantic venue!! |

I like outdoor concerts the best --so either Nissan Pavillion in VA or Hersheypark stadium does it for me . |

Smaller venue would be the Warfield in San Francisco.
Indoor arena favorite is HP Pavillion in San Jose or the New Save Mart Center in Fresno.
Outdoor ampitheatre....Shoreline in Montainview.
