Not bad. Her voice reminds me of Robs, actually. I'm trying to work up the nerve to make some recordings. Still working on that "confidence" thing...... |

Judith Priest actually is quite good...I was surprised, granted but pleasantly.
As far as singing like Rob the closest I came was the downloaded Screaming For Vengance album on RockBand. No where close to the real thing but fun as hell. You DO have to match pitch
I got a 100% on "Riding on the Wind" ::takes a bow:: ![](/FCKeditorNEW/editor/images/smiley/fun/wouaf.gif)
My bf's mom said "I swear I heard Heather sing last night". I said "Oh no, it was all real. I know-I'm THAT damn good." (not) LMAO |

I'm a somewhat new Priest fan (6mos). When I started listening, I was drawn to Rob's vocal style and started learning it. I've been having an absolute blast with this.
The fun part is....I'm soprano . Hey, it's metal. Who gives a shit?!
I don't know what I'm thinking!! I tried to start a tribute band, but everyone bolted as soon as they heard "female." So I bought a Flying V. The teenager from the guitar shop adopted me and I'm slowly banging out Breaking The Law. It'll be a while yet before I can play well.
KK said on his Q&A that he'd like to see a female tribute band someday. I did a Google search and found one alive and well in Seattle. So I'm not the only one.
So.........any thoughts? Am I going to get shot if I sing "Painkiller"? ![](/FCKeditorNEW/editor/images/smiley/fun/devil2.gif) |
