| I don't think you can actually compare Angel Of Retribution with Nostradamus. The predecessor is a straight forward Priest album and Nostradamus is concept album that has to be listened to in whole - in my opinion a metal work of art. |

I agree. No doubt about it. Nostra has just dominated my car / ipod like no other recording in (uuf) almost a decade. Great tunes on AOR but I find myself going back to Demoniiiiiizaaah! More than anything. Obviously, not a "concept" album so it doesn't strike me as all that odd, but I certainly think of AOR as just an album in the strictest sense of the word...a group of songs.
That said, I absolutely LOVE AOR's artwork!!! I cannot begin to show even a third of the things I own with that image. Coffee cup, lighter, framed poster thatt I planned to give away as a present (decided to keep, obviously) as well as a Mark numbered print that I had professionally matted and framed. Certainly the most expensive piece of art I own! Person who framed the poster for me laughed when I brought this print to her and said that I was keeping them both. Still haven't decided how to split them up so they sit side by side in my bedroom.

| A month ago i would have said Angel Of Retribution but I've been listening to Nostradamus a lot lately and I think I like it better, it just took a lot of getting used to. Nostradamus. |

I like both of them. They are both different. Judas Rising and Angel are two of my favourite Priest songs, but as a whole album, Nostradamus wins hands down. It is a complete story and covers a whole gamut of musical styles and techniques, shows off the awesome capabilities of all the band members, and has a great emotional range. But like someone else said - I am a priest fan, period. One week today and they will be here AAAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   |

THE DAY NOSTRADAUMUS CAME OUT I WOULD OF WENT WITH [AOR] ! NOW THAT I'VE OPENED MY MIND AND LISTENED WILL GIVE NOSTRADAMUS MY VOTE! THEY MAINSTREAMED INTO PRIME TV WITH THIS ALBUM AND SO MUCH MORE TO COME! I HAVE BEEN RE SCHOOLED!

It's hard to pick because I'm a Judas Priest fan,period. But if I had to choose 1 I'd have to go with AOR-- I liked that cd as soon as I listened to it.
I didn't care for Nostradamus at first ,save for a few songs , but the more I hear it ,the more I like it.. |

Out of their last 2 studio albums which is your favourite Nostradamus or Angel Of Retribution. I rather like Angel Of Retribution and am not too fussed with Nostradamus.
