Nice to know, loripip.
I do have my little problem solved. It was dealt in the manner of the Hazardous Material Response Team of the FBI and it's under constant monitoring and surveillance.

SINCE I'M A NURSE --I CAN TELL YA THAT CALAMINE LOTION IS THE BEST FOR FLEA BITES (FOR A HUMAN NOT YOUR PET )

Hmmm....Thank you for your concern and insightful help, ronnie.
Sometimes we need to ask ourselves some questions regarding issues such as killer mold, cockroaches and rats swimming around. Termites actually are very different from what you describe. They are VERY attracted to damp houses and it won't be long until you see a swarm of them flying from one interior wall towards the kitchen window...Having trouble with mosquitos? Get yourself some citronella candles. I heard they carry the West Nile virus, those pesky skeeters... Dangerous little buggers...
Best of Luck

Hi VOM

If you are on the same page for 20 min. or longer, you will automatically be signed out.
There have been a couple of occasions where I took too long writing a PM and had to start all over again because I took too long.  I need to learn to type faster!!
I don't know why there's not a remember me box.
If you click twice on the top bar, it will put your e-mail in automatically, but nothing for your password.
Hope this helps.
Ron

What about this site? Why doesn't it have a "remember me" box, so i don't to sign in ever time i vist? And if i'm on this site for awhile reading threads, and then i go to post, it will ask me to sign in again? Anyone else having this issue? Sorry to sort of hi-jack the thread, but is it happening to all of us? Or just me,lol.

I'd have to take a BOILING HOT BATH to make sure if I couldn't drown them, they would boil to death, and then I would be sterilized at the same time!!!  I hope that's not what happened to Who AmI.  I don't think I would wish that on anyone (except maybe my 2nd wife ).

Where AmI
I am really starting to become concerned for your mental well being over this FLEA thing you've got.  I don't (or care to) know much about the pests other than they ARE pests and if you have pets, it can be a real issue.
Can fleas bite a human?  Do they spread disease?  Can they get in your hair?  Do they jump from your pet on to you in the middle of the night when your fast asleep?  Are they in the wood work?  Nah, they call them termites.  I have to end this as I am now starting to itch!

I THINK HELLRIDERS HAS IT! EACH TIME YOU SIGN ON, THE LETTERS BECOME MORE DISTORTED. IN SOME WAY I THINK IT PREVENTS SCALPERS FROM BUYING HUNDREDS OF TICKETS AS THEY CAN'T SEE THE LETTERS ANYMORE AND SELLING THEM FOR A PROFIT.

BUT I THINK RON ALSO HAS A POINT. KICK BACK AND HAVE A FEW PINTS WHAT EVER THE REASON.

RON, HOPE YOU ENJOYED A FEW WHILE WATCHING ZAMBRANOS NO HITTER LAST NIGHT.

Quite the philosophical question.

What is the purpose of a flea in the grand scheme of natural things?

Does it polinate flowers?
No.

Totally useless insect.

I so agree--half the time I have to retype my email in because I couldn't see what I was typing in the first place.
