I read somewhere where Priest, sometime in the late 80's, recorded 3 pop songs. I know it was in Priest pages in Wikipedia.org somewhere, and I don't think they ever intended to release the songs, but they never destroyed them either.
I'm gonna spend some time today to find the details and report back on this, but I've been curious about what those songs sounded like. As far as I'm aware this track has never been released anywhere and is probably either destroyed or gathering dust somewhere. I would love to hear priests version of that great underrated stones classic. I reckon it would sound awesome. | | ronhartsell wrote: | | Green Manalishi, Johnny Be Good, Diamonds And Rust are good Priest covers we've all heard many times. But lately, thanks to the Internet, I've run across many solo covers by individual members as well as 'special guest' appearances over the years by Rob.
What are some cool or not so cool appearances or covers you've heard? I can't get enough of them!!!
Here are a few I've run into recently:
Light Comes Out Of Black...Pantera featuring Rob
Grinder...Pantera featuring Rob
Rapid Fire...Metallica featuring Rob
Delivering The Goods...Bach and Halford
Paint It Black...Tipton
Blackout...Halford |

Green Manalishi rules !!-I prefer it to Fleetwood Mac
Diamonds N Rust--the faster version
Blackout ---Rob
Heaven N Hell--Rob
Pretty much any other cover they do as I am a Priest fan period & any song is fine with me
