Fight by a long shot. War Of Words as as someone said it, is a fuckin' masterpiece. Rob & Scott were the stars of these albums. Guitars were also very sharp here. Into The Pit is the greatest, with Rob's golden screams mixed with Scott's pepper bulleting double bass druming, heavy thrashy guitars injected into the music.

War of Words is a true masterpiece of raw fuckin' metal.
A Small Deadly Space is very heavy and the guitars fit the 90s perfectly.

Resurrection is more Priest than Priest were themselves at the time.
Crucible is much more doomy kinda like the following up of A Small Deadly Space.

I love all 4 records - Halford at his best - as always!

Beyond Fear is great - Ripper has a great voice and he has grown and was able to cut his "umbilical cord".

FIGHT 100%

Fight and Halford are tied for me, i can't choose, they both rule. Fights so heavy, Rob, for the first time really showing his heavy HEAVY metal sound. Probably pissed off at the issues of his Priest departure. I really like the heavy vocals behind Halfords voice. At the same time though his voice can still blows your mind by itself in the Halford and Judas Priest albums. Fight was just so raw, and unbarred compared to anything in Priest before, well guess and after he rejoined in 2004. Maybe he'll blow us away in the next album.

The BEYOND FEAR project is quite good...and it was good to see Tim exercise his own writing abilities and arrangements with a whole 'nother band...but...songs like  "Scream Machine"  is testament to Tim's need to grow as a writer...to get away from the usual  kitschy metal schtick and find deeper things within to put out there.    And he'll get there...that kind of thing takes time and a lot of thought.

With Fight,  you had a seasoned, experienced song-writer in Rob Halford, who clearly had a vision with the  "War of Words"  album.     It sounds angry...discontent...disenfranchised...it puts into the hot seat all that which belongs in the hot seat and does so convincingly.      I'm just sorry it couldn't continue for another album or two, although, what Rob did with the HALFORD project more than made up for it!!

So...all told...Fight gets my absolute vote.

Were as the first Beyond Fear record is amazing, to me its wha the first Judas Priest album with Ripper should have been like.
