 Ripper maybe a good vocalist but not for Judas Priest (weakly). Rob Halford is realy the best in all 'cause he's the metal god.

I definitely like Rob halford best for Priest.  He just has this high, searing voice that worked very well for the sound of Priest.  On the other hand, I liked the music that Ripper Owens was coming out with for Judas Priest, and I kinda' wish he had stayed around a little longer with Judas Priest because I wish I could see what he could have done.  He had lots of potential.

Tim Owens has become one of my favorite metal singers. I loved his voice from the first time I heard him but I was truly disappointed when I saw him on the Jugulator tour. His stage acting and his moves were a complete copy of Rob`'s. 

Since then Tim has grown to be an outstanding performer and his voice is even better now as well. I love his CDs he's done with Iced Earth and also his Beyond Fear recording. I saw him with Iced Earth just before he was fired and I must say it was an unforgettable performance.

Looking forward to the release with Malmsteen...

Halford will always be recognized as the voice of priest. I do have nothing but respect for the guy. However depending on what mood I am in..classic priest (halford) or the heavy in your face priest (ripper)...both are great. Not trying to stir or rile u up but here's a vid of halford in NOT so top form. I do know that he's getting up there in age(halford) and he's only human. I guess people tend to over look tim ownes vocal ability..so maybe next time you wanna question owens..think of this video....rock on peeps.
