They do have that at the Ampitheather. But it sucks. The seats used are in the 200's or the VIP boxes at the top of the 200's. We received the package from them to buy it, but turned it down.

It was either Live Nation (the promoter) or band management that makes the call to hold back tickets. This is the first time I've ever seen a whole section, though. I think it was an attempt to stop the brokers. Hard to sell 200 level tickets when 100s are available. It's just too bad we didn't know what was happening.
As for getting tickets closer to the date, that is always possible as there is always a few great seats set aside for the band and the promoter. They will get released usually just a few days before the show or even that day, of they aren't being used. That's why it never hurts to check. It was damn hard waiting for this though, we really want to see this tour! |

wonder if thats what happened for my first priest concert. my friend was going to get them on his moms visa, kept waiting and waiting. here I am thinking its 10 days after they went on sale, must get binoculars or probably not see them since it will be sold out. 19th row on the floor. WTF? personaly I think that was just a screwup as someone else showed up with the same tix's, exactly the same seats. they showed us, we showed them, they left to find an usher, and dont know from there.

Damn ticketbastard strikes again! All the diehards like myself who went online right when the tickets went onsale ended up with high 200 or 300 level seats and some casual fans who might have just heard about the show end up getting great 102 sec. seats 3 weeks after they go onsale. How fair is that?
Excluding you dambanker though, as I know this has been burning at you since the tickets went onsale. You deserve good seats as you were the smart one who decided to wait-good move!.
This whole thing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth in regards to buying tickets now. At least I know the show will kickass regardless of where I sit. |

Sometimes Buisnesses have a range of tickets that they automatically get, a yearly membership so to speak, they buy for sporting events too, So If the buisness decided to sell there portion, that may have been what happend. Just a guess... I have noticed that before too.

hey freeze.yeah i allready got my tickets and dont want to rist getting some conterfit ticket or something like that .lol.man someone needs to put a stop to this crap.lol no presale. first one to ticket master the day of the sale gets the best seats.

Not sure if you guys up there have access to Stub Hub but I have found that they have the best seats. Price is usually a bit higher than other places but they do have GREAT seats.

No kidding!!! I was hopping that they're were doing this to arrange for another VIP package this tour. I been checking everyday...even called Live Nation to find out what was going on. Just happened to see this, really didn't expect this on a Sunday. Glad I refused to buy to 200's when they went on sale.
