I wish Priest would just play Visions included in the Priest Feast setlist. That's one thing that really disappointed me about the list because it's a song I felt I just have to hear live. I hope they play it live finally at the North American shows. *crosses fingers* [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Bazooka Joe from Tuesday, April 28, 2009 11:17:11 AM)

I dunno, can't choose, two completely different styles of songs. Visions is great and has a great chorus.
Death is a great doom metal song with a very big haunting choir of Rob's at the end haha. |

I like both songs, but I lean more toward the song Death. It has that evil edge to it, especially when Rob shrieks. But I like Visions too, especially since Rob is elaborating on how Nostra may have seen his visions. It even sounds like it might be his theme song.
I hope JP play Death in this tour along with all of the British Steel album!! Prophecy was the other one which had the same criteria but obviously it isn't that great as the first two. So, which song hits you harder? Death or Visions? Death is one of the all time greatest doom metal songs, the more evil twin of Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath the song. It is without doubt a must play song in regards to a 'Priest setlist in concert. It is a great metal step forward for the band. Visions on the other hand, is testament of the band's still endless capacity to make hard rock based songs. Visions is a very groovy song, great both on drums and especially guitar despite its slow moving pace. It's a song that really makes your heart beat high in optimism and almost makes you induce all the erotic love feelings you've experienced in your life in a split second. So, which do you see as the better? I will vote for Visions, and may this be heard live on the next US tour. Edited at: Friday, April 24, 2009 7:19:02 AM |
