FIRST FEW LISTENS I DIDN'T CARE FOR IT. LOVE DIOS VOICE BUT EVERYTHING SEEMED SLOW AND DRAWN OUT. I PUT IT AWAY FOR A FREW DAYS AND LISTENED AGAIN. AND WITH EACH LISTEN I LIKED IT MORE AND MORE. FIRWT TWO SONGS WERE SO SO, BUT EACH SONG AFTER THAT GOT BETTER AND BETTER.
TWO THUMBS UP IN MY OPINION. |

I have to say that the new album "The Devil You Know" by Heaven & Hell is one of the most "boring" LPs I have ever listened to besides Nostradamus.
This album is sooooooo slow,it just is way to slow and boring. Sorry Dio & Tonni,but better luck next time....if there will be a next. |

| I didnt care too much for H&H on the Metal Masters tour this past Aug. with Priest. Why Vinnie Appice is doing a drum solo in a 45 min set is another story. Heard their new live DVD from Radio City is very good. Saxon & Iced Earth in NY sounds awesome! MpleSyrp |

Yeah,a live show would be pretty cool but I'm not sure if I'm up for it. I'm not to "thilled" with "The Devil You Know" album....its "ok" but its alittle too slow for my likings.
I'm pretty sure I will NOT be attending this show,but I encourage others to go to the Seattle show if possible.
The show I would be attending if I lived in New York,would be Saxon with Iced Earth opening up this month.

In my opinion,the new album "The Devil You Know" by Heaven & Hell is a tad bit "too slow" to my likings.
I know this is for a "doom" factor in being this slow,but I'm afraid its "too slow" even to make this point across.
They don't have enough up-tempo tracks,and to me it gets kinda boring even though they are not bad tracks. |
