Yeah man. Priest need to really think about this. You're right it is dishonest. I already bought RITE...why would I want to hear those songs rereleased on an album. I'm going to make a thread about Priest redoing this live album. Lol I had a few drinks.

Thank you for the info! If what you state is true, that Painkiller and BTROD are taken from the DVD, then that is indeed a rip-off and JP should have just released an audio version of the DVD.  I find it very cheap and dishonest on JP's part to say that this live cd will be filled with previously unreleased in live format songs, only to find out that that at least 2 of the songs are taken directly off of the DVD. It does call into question  wether the other songs are also ripped from the DVD and makes me hesitate buying the cd.

When I realised the Painkiller on A Touch Of Evil Live is from Rising In The East I was pretty shocked. I just don't get why 'Priest would do this to their fans. Watching Painkiller on that DVD was very painful, it didn't quite sound up to its top notch, neither vocally nor instrumentally. And now 'Priest are releasing it yet AGAIN, in the form of audio, on a live CD which is supposed to be UNRELEASED live tracks. Nothing less than ironic if you ask me. The whole idea that Painkiller will be from RITE kills my entire desire for this new live album. There were so many great versions of this song played last year & this year, most notably Mexico City and Buenos Aires, that I can't believe they're releasing a mediocre version which at this point was played well over 4 years ago with a poor sounding performance. How could you 'Priest If Priest is reading this, they should most certainly take consideration of this fact and perhaps change it over for a better version. Even Beyond The Realms Of Death is from that DVD. If Judas Rising, Hellrider, Riding On The Wind and A Touch Of Evil are too..I think a lot of people won't be able to help but shake their head in dismay at the big mistake Priest would have made in that case. Bring on a better Painkiller!!!
