yes. By recognizable. Classic songs forever touch your heart. THe music describes things you identify with from somewhere in your past. And the song will be a part of your mood from the day you heard it . these are songs you beleive with. I can think of a few tunes that have a mix of musical elements that everybody would agree are not "classics". I still think it is a number of opinions from the fan base. | | K2M wrote: | | It is a mix of musical elements. This makes the song recognizable to many. This enables the song to be Timeless. |

A song that becomes 'classic' has to be timeless, ie., it is universally still as popular as when it was first heard by many for the first time? Take Priest's classic song 'Victim of Changes', one of their oldest songs, appeals to I think, all fans, especially when heard live in concert? |

I believe its a cluster of opinions by the artist's fanbase. When we all heard the track "Hellrider"...we all knew instantly it was a classic. Why did the "majority" of all of us agree?
I don't know......hummm I guess if a song kicks that much ass and its hard to find someone that doesn't like the track...then thats a good indication its a "classic". |
