Excellent revue. Funny how even the 145 some positive comments tend to focus on the art, the box, even one 4 star comment said it was mediocre and will only keep it for the art!
Personally, I trust the Priest crowd to give me proper advice.

guido, I was eager to listen to this album because I foolishly thought that since they have sucked for over 25 years now they were due? So I listed to this album online and it is utter crap.
It is an egotistical boring lengthy repetitive session jam in the studio where the band sound like they have honestly lost the ability to write a good song like they used to do in the 80's....it sucks heavily....
They slap Eddie in the packaging,the smell of new ink in the CD booklet,photos.... any Iron Maiden fan boy is sure to grab the bait every time...beah.... This band sucks.

Should bring this back as I miss the creator of this thread. For those that don't know, before he began to adopt ESL speakers/writers with dead flies for brains and turning them into mindless puppets to throw into the 'Board without a shred of defense but their own sheer lack of emotional control and decorum to do all his dirty work for him, this user was a huge IM fan. He was also a huge Ripper fan in another life, but that's a story for another day.
I DVR'ed Iron Maiden's En Vivo! show a few weekends ago and watched it today.
What I got from this was that IM had a great onstage presence that night, and that Latin American metalheads are and will always be the craziest and most passionate metal fans around. Also that Janick Gers is surprisingly good. Had he been kicked out of IM he definitely would've made another HM band famous.
As for the footage? REALLY could've done without the split screens, though. Yes, there is a lot going on, but the more focus on the band (and for more than two seconds), the better.
Overall? It's pretty cool.
