Oh i forgot to mention when i saw a Anthrax,Scott Ian blew up to marhall heads only minutes apart and then blasted the roadies and front of house sound guy during a song.
When maiden toured OZ in the mid eighties i saw their mascott EDDY take a minor fall on the amp backline, thats cool though it just reminds me that even the best can fuck up.

I remember seeing Rob Zombie at Ozzfest 02'. For some reason (drugs?) I do not know his guitar player
started weirding out. He was playing shit that didn't belong in the songs, then playing the wrong song. Rob
was getting pissed yelling shit at him(off mike). They start More Human Than Human and he walks off stage.
They did about 3/4ths of the song with no guitar before he came back out. Rob gave him the finger across
the throat sign and they finished up. He is no longer with Rob.(can't imagine why)(LOL) |

I saw Ripper singing a few songs for a band called Seattle at a club in Akron, Oh..
He had been drinking before and during his performance. During a solo in one of the songs
he took a shot and about 3 seconds later he threw it back up. Then he had to finish the song.
That was (kind) of funny. |

How about the famous line " this one goes to eleven ", refering to his amp.
Not to forget their internally combusting drummers. Edited at: Friday, September 17, 2010 12:41:09 AM |

I have to go with the mini Stonehenge set and how they looked like giants compared to that mini set! No matter how many times I watch it, I laugh and laugh every time at that part My second favorite is probably when they get lost backstage trying to find the stage. That entire movie is hilarious! And dont forget the bass player stuck in that cocoon ,and again the roadie taking to it with a hammer and a blow torch to try and release him - its all classic stuff.
Where do you find roadies like this willing to go the extra mile all in the name of rock'n roll ?
Whats your favourite scene from the movie ? Edited at: Wednesday, September 15, 2010 1:34:03 AM |

We ignite the guitars and start set 2.This is when the magic happened, within seconds these weapons of mass destruction engulf the entire venue in a thick wave of smoke.
I can no longer see my hand in front of my face ,let alone breathe without dropping a lung.Windows and doors are opened to ventilate the room but the show must go on.Needless to say we cut that set short. To their credit the crowd stayed on despite the second interuption of the night - the local fire brigade charging in with fire hoses ready, cheers. |
