That's cool. I've only seen two of their videos and wasn't sure how they would be live.
Between the two responses I don't think I'll worry about missing them. I'll check them out
if nothing else is going on. There's over 40 bands so I'll have to pick and choose anyway.

I have seen Judas in Chile 2005 with Whitesnake and Rata Blanca (Monsters of Rock). In the year 2008  the opening band of Judas Priest was a local band called Panzer.... I would like to see Saxon with Judas Priest next time

Popevil really tried to rock the crowd, but they just didn't do it for me. I know that others in the crowd liked them, but I didn't really. I thought they had great energy though, I just didn't like their music. But to each his own, maybe you'll like them.

I see you missed Popevil the first time, how about the second. They're one of the bands at ROTR 2011 and I was curious as to how they sound.
I found a couple of videos on youtube and I have mixed emotions about them. They sound like they might be heavy enough to be OK live.
Any opinions.

I've only gotten to see them once so far, and that was in '09 with Whitesnake on the 30th anniversery of British Steel tour. I hope to see them a few more times on this next tour.

Really can't remember which support bands I saw with the Priest in the early eighties, possibly Accept?
In recent times seen The Scorpions supporting a couple of times, including a fantastic gig at the Royal Albert Hall a few years back. Gillan was also there. Looking forward to this years High Voltage festival in July and surely some more UK dates before its time to call it a day.

I have seen priest as many times as able to. Best show on the planet. First time w/ Iron Maiden in 1980. Still my favorite show of all time. I have also seen them with Accept/ Whitesnake/ Great White/ Anthrax. Would love to see Priest tour w/ Maiden for final tour of U.S. another choice would be Motorhead. I am going to try to go to multiple shows w/ Priest on this tour.
