Eveyone's got favorites, but which songs do you like the least?

Prefer "Blood Stained" myself, but know what you mean. Saw Priest with Ripper four times (at the Astoria Theatre, London in 1998 & 2001, Portsmouth Guildhall 2001 & Brixton Academy 2001) and all were excellent shows, especially that first Astoria show which I'd rate as one of the best JP concerts I've ever seen... from 17 times since 1983.    [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by electriceye69 from Friday, July 29, 2011 1:27:56 PM)

I like seeing a little love for Demolition.
Even though this will probably be followed up
by a dozen "It sucks!!!" comments I think there
is some pretty heavy music on it.
[Budred] Wednesday, July 27, 2011 7:09:43 AM
It's not a bad pun.
I went back a little while later and thought that's what you might of meant. I was a little
confused because I couldn't tell if it was an angry post or not. Take care.

Oh', and you don't like "Hero's End"?
That's one of my favorite Priest songs.

I agree; Demolition has some good songs - "One On One", "Devil Digger", "Hell Is Home", "Bloodsuckers", "In Between", "Feed On Me", "Subterfuge" & "Lost & Found" are the stand-outs for me.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by electriceye69 from Wednesday, July 27, 2011 1:44:28 AM)

Rocka Rolla - Caviar and Meths, boring and pointless

Sad Wings of Destiny - Epitaph. kinda bored me.

Sin After Sin - Last Rose Of Summer, I'm not quite sure why.

Stained Class - Savage, it's a decent song stuck on an amazing album.

Killing Machine - Evening Star, poppy.

British Steel - You Don't Have to Be Old to Be Wise, like Savage, something has to be the worst.

Point of Entry - You Say Yes

Screaming for Vengeance - You've Got Another Thing Coming, too poppy.

Defenders of the Faith - Defenders of the Faith, they should have kept it out and only played it on their tour.

Turbo - Parental Guidance, again, too poppy for me. And what a cheesy chorus.

Ram It Down - Love You to Death

Painkiller - One Shot At Glory, too stretched out.

Jugulator - Decapitate

Demolition - Almost all the songs are equally terrible besides Lost and Found, witch is just below average.

Angel of Retribution - Lochness, 13 minutes of nonsense

Nostradamus - Lost Love

Well Here Come the Tears does build up to a heavy finish, which is why I like it more over Last Rose.

1. Rocka Rolla - none. Love all the songs on this superb & underrated album... plus anyone who says "Caviar & Meths" has no soul!
2. Sad Wings Of Destiny - "Prelude" & "Epitaph" are very Queen inspired (not that that's a bad thing), plus I'm not overly fussed for the studio chorus of "Tyrant".
3. Sin After Sin - none. Another great album.
4. Stained Class - "Heroes End". Has never done anything for me I'm afraid.
5. Killing Machine / Hell Bent For Leather - none. As close to perfection as Priest can get for me.
6. British Steel - "You Don't Have To Be Old, To Be Wise". Another near perfect album, but this song, although a standout on most other albums, is slightly weaker than the rest (IMO).
7. Point Of Entry - none. Certainly not a perfect album, but it has a charm all of it's own, and I can happily listen to every song.
8. Screaming For Vengeance - "(Take These) Chains". Another song that has never done anything for me. Maybe because it wasn't written by the band.
9. Defenders Of The Faith - "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll". Not that bad, but again has never done much for me, and as above perhaps it's the Bob Halligan Jnr connection.
10. Turbo - "Locked In". Like the riff, but always found that whole "You've got the key, the key to my heart" etc chorus very naff.
11. Ram It Down - "Love Zone". Sounds like a Turbo reject, and hate that computerised drum sound.
12. Painkiller - "One Shot At Glory". Always found this song rather ploddy & the odd one out on this fine album.
13. Jugulator - "Cathedral Spires". Like "Lochness" it goes on a bit & the chorus & last 3rd of the song just doesn't do anything for me.
14. Demolition - "Jekyll & Hide". One word - silly! And certainly no competition for "The Ripper".
15. Angel Of Retribution - "Wheels Of Fire". Sounds too contrived to these ears. Very ploddy as well.
16. Nostradamus - "War". Full credit for trying something different, but this song for me just sounds like a mess, and is way too "parp-y" in the keyboard department.

Rocka Rolla - Caviar and Meths.
Sad Wings of Destiny - Deceiver.
Sin After Sin - Raw Deal.
Stained Class - Invader.
Killing Machine - Evening Star.
British Steel - You Don't Have to Be Old to Be Wise.
Point of Entry - You Say Yes.
Screaming for Vengeance - Pain and Pleasure.
Defenders of the Faith - Defenders of the Faith (I find it more of a filler song than anything).
Turbo - Parental Guidance.
Ram It Down - Love You to Death.
Painkiller -Hell Patrol.
Jugulator - Decapitate (although Abductors has astonishing lyrics)
Demolition - Lost and Found.
Angel of Retribution - Eulogy.
Nostradamus - Lost Love.

Ok, so there's all sorts of "rate albums/songs" topics around here, but I haven't yet seen one with this question: what are your least favorite tracks off each studio album the band has released? Try to name only one song from each album, but if you really can't decide then you can always name other ones as well.

My list:

Rocka Rolla: Caviar and Meths. Sorry, but if you couldn't use the full song because of time constraints, then why bother with this rather pointless instrumental?
Sad Wings of Destiny: Epitaph. Just doesn't fit well to the dramatic feel of the rest of the album.
Sin After Sin: Last Rose of Summer. The rest of the album is hard'n'heavy, and then there's this oddity. It's a beatiful song, but again doesn't fit with the other songs.
Stained Class: Hard to choose a least favorite from here, but I'd say Invader.
Killing Machine/Hell Bent for Leather: Evening Star. Way too poppy and commercial to my taste.
British Steel: You Don't Have to Be Old to Be Wise. For some reason I don't find it as good as the other songs.
Point of Entry: You Say Yes. One of the most idotic choruses the band has ever written.
Screaming for Vengeance: Pain and Pleasure. Plods around and never really creates interest in me.
Defenders of the Faith: the "title track". While it's nice when performed live, it's just stupid as a studio version.
Turbo: Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days. While it's a nice summer song, again that's not what you expect from Priest.
Ram It Down: Love You to Death. Too much synth and too repetitive.
Painkiller: All Guns Blazing. It's a fast one, but that doesn't always guarantee a good song.
Jugulator: Decapitate. Another song that's way too much repetitive.
Demolition: One on One. Way too long and repetitive.
Angel of Retribution: Eulogy. While it mentions a lot of Priest's history, musically it's just boring.
Nostradamus: Future of Mankind. Too long.
