Well, I have no musical education, so I'll just sayc Scott Travis, because he's the one I'd like to listen more.
Ok, did I just make a fool of myself? Anyone thinkin so... look at the mirror!
If I did, who cares. JP forever! ST is a drum god...

I don't know to much about the drums, being a guitarist, but I think that Scott is the best, esspecialy live.

since i am a drummer, you have to play and adjust to what the music needs. I think Scott Travis does it best. Scott tears it up on fast and slow songs. That is why he is my ultimate influence. I dug Les Binks drumming. I would say Scott as the best and second best Les.

i'd have to say Les Binks. he was just a LEGEND! he was also very very musical so he contributed a lot beyond his drumming. not to say Scott or Dave do/did not contribute. oh, and i also really like old priest. so i'd give their old drummers a mention.

Simon Philips got the boy's off and running.  I really enjoyed Les Binks on the skins.  Dave Holland was very tight and what Priest needed with their "new" sound.  Scott Travis is what the band needed to move into the 90's (and beyond).  I think Priest have been fortunate over the years to have the right drummers at the right times.  Maybe Holland was at the helm a littler longer than neccessary (but I can't envision Travis laying down tracks for Turbo).  A lot of fan's will probably disagree with me, but I think that Binks would have performed really well on the Nostradumas release.  Nothing against Travis' handy work, but creatively, I think Binks would have been perfect.  Thank You.

Well ,its hard one ,first tho its funny that no one as mentioned  simon philips ,hell of a drummer but tthen he never realy was a menber of priest , i am a drummer as well  and i played stuff from all preists drummer ,and les binks will always be my prefered one as he followed what simmon philips started with double bass and big drum sets ,but mostly for how original he was ,my second choice would be dave holland ,what he did may seems easy at first but he was very subtle and tight ,scott as some weird timing in some old preist tunes when you hear him live and he is not imho as original as les binks was ,he still a hell of a drummer tho
