I'm afraid that the concert will not make a lasting change, but will be a momentary pick-me-up. In that situation of the past 5 years, it sounds like the move to Canada may be a more stable solution. I do pray it turns out to be so for you. However, don't hesitate to seek counseling, or surround yourself with friends that do really care, so you yourself don't have a nervous breakdown. Hopefully she wont screw up yet another planned celebration.. but Iam not going to get my hopes up!! Iam completley stressed out for about 5 days after I come there because of her drinking. My nerves are bad ect.. And with everything else I have going on in my life right now.. I need a good hard rockin concert on July 30th to feel better..
Which is why Iam so excited to finally go to Canada...
