It's easy for me, since I've been through it twice. Try this. Relax, hum quietly in very even tones so it more resonates from within rather than sounds out loud
and make sure his head is close to your heart so he can hear it beating. If you are relaxed, the slow and even sound of your heart couple with the monotone
humming will more than likely quiet him right down. By the way, this works with most "animals". I've used it on humans, dogs, cats, horses and birds.
