This CD is absolutely incredible, and it's only my first listen. This new direction is fresh and exciting. All five members demonstrate superior musicianship and writing on this CD. It is however disappointing to hear so may cry about the change. These are probably the same individuals that bitch about the same songs being played live, and when the band grows and tries something new bitch again. The band is getting older and we will probably only have this CD and tour and maybe one more go around before they call it a career. Enjoy it while it lasts as there are by far the greatest band ever and have always tried to pave the way with experiments and sounds. Hopefully a few more listens and they will begin to enjoy this record and realize what Priest have accomplished. This CD ranks right behind Sad Wings and Ram It Down for Priest's best record!!
