25 years since Kill "Em All? I know I have been a Priest fan forever but that just added a new demension of time to the whole experience. Does not seem like Metallica could be that old.
Oh well, what the hell, Im old and I dont care! As long as I can still do things I could do so many years ago I'm not really old. Just a number. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Metal Jesus from Thursday, June 19, 2008 5:31:25 PM)

25th Anniversary of Kill 'Em All
Metal Blade Records owner and CEO Brian Slagel recently conducted interviews with METALLICA guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the band's debut album, "Kill 'Em All". Watch the six-and-a-half-minute clip below.
Released on July 25, 1983 on Megaforce Records, "Kill 'Em All" (original working title: "Metal Up Your Ass") was recorded in only two weeks on a small budget. Only 1,500 copies were initially printed, but it has now been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales in excess of three million copies in the U.S. alone. "Hit the Lights", the album's opening track, was the first song that Hetfield and Ulrich worked on after forming METALLICA. Early versions of the track can be heard on 1982's "Metal Massacre" compilation of emerging thrash metal bands, as well as its subsequent reissue, both of which were released by Metal Blade Records.
