I wouldn't say 1000 times better although I could understand the game being played in Montral for that reason. Here in the states Hockey is like heavy metal. It doesn't get the respect it deserves. But, the ones who do enjoy it live and die for it. When the first week of October comes around i revolve my lifes schedule around the islanders schedule. As for the Ranger/Islander rivalry - I think it is better than the yankee/red sox rivalry. Baseball is bigger here so yankees/red sox gets more press. Hockey may not be as popular here and Canada is the true home of hockey, but the fans who do like it here are very passonate. LONG LIVE HOCKEY, LONG LIVE CANADA FOR GIVING US HOCKEY AND LONG LIVE HEAVY METAL. Edited at: Monday, July 07, 2008 4:25:15 PM
