Telecaster's shape is something that I don't really like, but the guitar is excellent itself. Strats have great feel.. the bodies are excellent, but the bolt on neck sucks... But that's not part of the Strat's shape of course. I'm also sure that many Super Strats are great... Like Ibanez' Jem guitars... must be excellent. Flying V is a bit problematic by it's shape really, but its much better when playing from the upper frets than most of the other guitars... Gibson SG feels pretty good as well. Strat and SG might be my favourites, the shape. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by stratlover from Monday, July 07, 2008 7:10:24 AM)

Yes, I have nice lines...
Seriously tho, I think that the shape of a stratocaster, or a telecaster is impossible to beat. I played quite a few guitars, but I still think that those two are the best. Gibson Les Paul is like weight-lifting, imo, and same is BC rich (tho I never played a BC rich guitar - just a friends bass which is a copy of a BC Rich).
Also, some Ibanez guitars (the ones that look similar to Fender Strats) are pretty cool.

For smooth flowing lines, the Strat is hard to beat. I personally prefer the Strat type of body, they seem to fit me well. I`ve had a variety of guitars over the years, but the start is always my go to shape. the Les paul type is cool, as of recent years had some Epiphone LP`s,but they just don`t fit me as well.
The angular bodies of the Warlock and the Splitail can be hard to get used to!
