Mhm. I played my uncles Ibanez a few times, and it was really easy, compared to my Strat. Nice neck, strings were really low, almost touching the fretboard... Really cool.
I never played an SG before, but it looks cool to me. I specialy like it how the highest notes are very accesible (or seem to be, anyway). On a strat, I almost have to break my fingers when I want to play above the 17th fret on the low strings. From my experience, I think the reason that people say the SG has such a fast neck is because it's so much sleeker than a Les Paul or any other Gibson that I've ever played. Flater, narrower and just plain easier to get around. I'd still toss it aside for an Ibanez for playing ease though.
