Hey there,
did anyone booked the Meet and Greet package and if so, how/what was your experience?
Me and my brother booked it and were there in Munich, 24.06.08. It was a short, but great experience . Well, most of it. The Band itself was very great, nice and patient. All in all seven people booked that package and were there.They ( the Band) were chatting with us (a little) and signed CD´s as well as various T-shirts. They even would´ve spend more time (this was my impression), if not their manager - or whoever this olderly guy was- would´ve stressed everybody around. Faster here, faster there, shouting at the fans to expedite and it was him who took ONE picture of me and the band with my camera. So I was really lucky, that the picture was a good one (sharp etc.) . Really, if this manager would not have been there, it would´ve been much more exciting for us.
Just to make that clear again: Judas Priest, the Band members, very very nice and patient and friendly and unstressed. My impression was, that they even would´ve stayed another five minutes or so to take their time for us fans (for pictures and singaturesor whatever ). However, the manager guy ended the session (which took place in the stairway of the hall!) after 10-15 min of shouting and pushing us around!
Nevertheless it was an very exciting experience to be so close to my favourite band, I ever dreamed of this thing to happen. AND IT DID! WOW!
PS: And since I am too bloody stupid to upload a picture, you fail to see me in the middle of Rob, K.K., Glen and Ian! Sad for you ;-)
