Oh my boss found out she pretty much lied her entire resume, so it was bound to come out.
She is just wierd...we are a small group in our place and we all are like family, we all have the same sense of humor...she-doesn't. She hates laughter and we laugh too much. Oh Well!!!
Oh I avoid her at all costs except when necessary-she complained my co-worker (our senior member) is "not at her desk enough". Well, she has MEETINGS.
Good grief :) It does put everybody in a bad mood to have someone act like that all the time. If she doesn't do her job like she should, it is only a matter of time until she gets the boot. As you said, you've been in much worse jobs, so how hard can it be to ignore what that idiot says now that you work in a better place? As long as she isn't harrassing you and only doing some inconsequent bitching, I think you'll be alright.
The next job you'll have will be twice as nice.

All this new person does is bitch-I'm just glad she doesnt sit next to me.
Today it was a blamy 85 degrees in the office since she broke the thermostat. YAY! And she still bitched about the cold-and she doesnt do what we tell her.
My last job before this one, I worked outside in hazardous materials in every temperature, then went into a cubicle the sizr of a portapotty to write reports for arseface bosses that embezzeled $$ for themselves so we went without new first aid supplies. I came from shit to gold pretty much.
She complained that she "refuses to take dirty evelvator so she is FORCED to take the stairs". WTF!!!! How else are you going to get up to the second floor? Fly?!

Was she complaining or was she bragging?

Back to work again this week....
the new girl they hired is a pain in the arse, she pisses and moans about everything-from her cubicle to her office chair to the fact that she is allergic to COLD (WTF!!!). I'm about to tell her "look, General Motors and Continental just fired a combo of 3000 people, and I'm sure one of them will gladly take A JOB, any job at this point."
