You are right!! You don't really hear about too many NHL player incidents outside the rink (inside is another story). NFL has to be the way it is now, their players are out of control!!!
David Stern and the NBA could learn some lessons from the NHL and the NFL.

I really don't want to get into ROOKIE contracts, especially when in comes to the NFL. It's ridiculous!!!
I will say, however, that of ALL the major sports leagues in America, the NFL under Commissioner Roger Goodell, he is much the disciplinarian and DOES hold players accountable for there actions (whether found guilty or not in the courts), and usually doles out his discipline BEFORE there is even a judges verdict.

Football and baseball lead the pack in spoiled grown men. Hockey isn't too far behind. Wouldn't it be nice if you had to prove yourself in the pros, before you are payed like a pro?
