I AGREE SOY--HER ACTING WAS TOP-NOTCH JUST HER RUNNING WAS SLOW--BUT ALL IN ALL A GREAT MOVIE & I GIVE IT --THE THING THAT SCARED ME THE MOST WAS WHEN THIS MOVIE CAME OUT -I SAW IT AT THE DRIVE-IN & RIGHT BEFORE THE MOVIE STARTED IT SAID ON THE SCREEN THAT THIS WAS BASED ON TRUE LIFE EVENTS --I TRULY THINK IT WOULDN'T HAVE EFFECTED ME AS MUCH AS IT DID IF I'D HAVE SEEN IT ON A THEATER SCREEN BUT SEEING IT ON THE BIG SCREEN JUST DID ME IN--1 OF THE MORE HORRIFYING MOVIES THAT AFFECTED MY PEA BRAIN [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Soylentgreen4u from Sunday, September 07, 2008 4:42:02 PM)

ALTHOUGH THE MOVIE HAS BEEN PANNED BY SOME,I DID APPRECIATE THE EFFORT SALLY PUT IN AS FAR AS ACTING TERRIFIED,THE SCENE AT THE END WHEN SHE JUST MAKES IT INTO THE BACK OF THE PICK-UP TRUCK WHERE SHE IS SEEMINGLY SCREAMING-LAUGHING AS THOUGH SHE HAS GONE COMPLETELY INSANE FROM THE ORDEAL (WHICH IS COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE) WAS QUITE WELL DONE BY HER I THOUGHT....

I AGREE SOY--I PREFER THE ORIGINAL ONE BETTER--MY ONLY COMPLAINT ON THAT MOVIE WAS "SALLY" WAS SO SLOW , I THOUGHT FOR SURE LEATHERFACE WOULD CATCH UP TO HER--ALL I KNOW IS IF A GUY WHO HAS HUMAN FACE OVER HIS OWN & IS CHASING ME WITH A CHAINSAW---I WOULDN'T BE LETTING NO GRASS GROW UNDER MY FEET !!
