lol! I love the dark beers! Humm, thought I lived in the middle of nowhere? I once had a Jamacian dark that tasted like Molasses! I thought I would puke! Ruin that nice Jamacian sand! lol! I am lucky enough that there is a store in this area called the Beer Vault! It's allot like walking through heaven's doors! Why good afternoon. You know, I HAVE but just as I read the name I thought the same as you typed.....really hard to find. Well, I suppose I don't really look too hard either. Bit too sweet for my tastes. Not as bad but they have a HORRIBLE concoction called "malzbeer" in Brazil. I got tricked into that crap a couple of times as I usually start by asking what the darkest beer they carry is when ordering. It is made by a few different companies, thus, me getting tricked a couple of times. The person who made that black sugar crap should be drawn and quartered! Bleah!! Talk about sweet!!
Although a small town, we have a nice little selection and especially nice "family owned" stores that bring in most of what I request. If POSSIBLE. Strange laws, as I say. Things I can get here I can't get 10 minutes away in Kentucky and vice-versa. Wine and liquor is illegal to sell by the bottle in my city. Sure, you can be brilliant and drink all you want in the bars and then try to drive home as we have no public transportation but plenty of police. Thus, we have to drive 10 minutes down the road to KY! What hipocracy.

Afternoon Guido! Ever tried Dixie Blackened Voodoo! Dark but sweet at the same time, but not too sweet. A draft made in heaven! Damn hard to find too!

Yup. Get it on draft back in my home town. Weiss beer. Be sure to roll the bottle as that foam heats up leaving you a bunch more. Should be consumed with a slice of lemon. One of my personal favs.
Personally, I am more a Guinness but blacker sort of guy. Oatmeal Stouts. Beer called Sheaf Stout from Australia is my all-time favorite. Sadly, though, they don't sell it in this stupid state nor any surrounding me. It is imported by Miller and beer is only permitted into a state by state law. That forces me to other options like Old Rasputin (four pack), Duvel (another expensive 4 pack but GREAT) and old staples like Goose Island (Chicago microbrew) and Sierra Nevada Stout. Can't complain.

Perfect sense. You are talking to quite the beer snob. Plus, you justify me running to the store between games! LOL!

I'm not that young anymore, so i don't drink it so much for the effect it gives me as to the taste it provides. That make sense? But yes beer and football go hand in hand.
