PROJECT II UPDATE
(LAS VEGAS, NV-NEW YORK) The surviving members of the rock group Faithful Defenders announced today that the group will meet in the studio to begin the long awaited recording of their second album on November 17th of this year. Rumors of the new album have been circulating around the official Judas Priest website that the band were ready to begin work on the follow-up album to the hugely successful debut recording, Raw Steel.
When reached at his home in Las Vegas, vocalist Mike Deep Freeze Berentsen confirmed the report saying, " It's true. I am flying to New York next month to get working on the album. I can tell you we are very excited about this. It has been a long time coming". More rumors regarding the material for this album were confirmed by guitarist and co-founder Phil MetalMeltdown Ewing when called at his New York office. "Yes, it is true. Mike is heading out to the highway and we are getting down to business in November," he quipped.
Fans across the US and in countries such as Canada and the UK have all been demanding a new release from the band. "This is freakin awesome," said one unidentified fan. The music world is abuzz with excitement and it is widely anticipated that the new effort will far surpass Raw Steel both in popularity and distribution. It was also said that there will be more original material on this album. Raw Steel was distributed in the US, Canada, Japan, the UK and South America. It was also broadcast on Argentinian radio in 2006. |
