Thanks Lana, need all the luck I can get!!! They have cameras set up and I had to sign consent forms and such, but I know nothing else.
An event held earlier this week for the same buy-in gave the winner $70,500.00 as well as a gold and diamond trophy ring and a seat at the Main Event in Vegas for the 'big bucks'!!!
I know you can follow the event thier poker site!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by lana from Saturday, November 01, 2008 6:56:36 AM)

Much appreciate DF!! I don't have the money to blow either, which is why he is sponsoring me. It'll be cool to have some friends and work friends there as well. There's balcony seating for folks to watch as well. If I can take pics, I'll post 'em and share my experience with everyone. (I will even if I can't take pics!!)

WOW!!! Incredible! I live in Vegas but I do not gamble. I am terrible at gaming and I do not have the money to lose. Very impressive, Ron!!! I do hope you are successful, my friend!!!

Good morning DF...
Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN, borders Chicago and sits on Lake Michigan. I've been an avid poker player for years but never getting to play in a sanctioned World Series of Poker event. Well, the owner of the company I work at asked me if I'd play if he sponsored me. So, last night I went and got my Players Card and he showed up with the bank and at noon today we 'Shuffle up and deal!!!!'.
