YEAH!! FREAKIN' OIL FILTERS! As I sit trying to type with bloody knuckles and crimped hands, I ask: who the hell invented such a stupid thing and install it in a place where a DIY fellow can't get a decent angle on it?! DAMN TOYOTAS!!
I think this is akin to the magnetic strips on credit / debit cards. How many times have you been in a store where they say "other way?" Crap! You would think that Man would have evolved to the state of putting a magnetic strip on BOTH sides as well as making a damn oil filter that isn't stuffed between the oil pan and a hard place! AAAARGH!!!
Ok, done now. Anyone who works on their own vehicles know that you just don't feel satisfied if you didn't swear a bunch of times and lose some blood in the process.
