See? You are the recipient of all automotive questions. Who knows, I wouldn't be surprised that a car HAD a USB port (personally, I'd go firewire) but I am a Detroit kid. Gotta pose all my auto quandaries to someone. You da' man! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Head banger from Friday, November 14, 2008 11:17:58 PM)

sure on the car, what you think there is one on this antique? actualy, the computer is not that old. microsoft sync, hit the button, ask it what track, album or artist to play.
sensor is usualy mounted under the front bumper in front of the grill. the wind chill I am told isnt factored in, just as with your thermometer hanging outside it doesnt change when teh wind kicks up. you need either a hot wire (like in a mass air sensor on a car) or add water to the equation. not exactly sure on how it works, I know that it does.

USB port on what? The car?!
Say, I had another one of those "pondering" questions for you. Came when driving by a local sign showing the temperature and looking down to catch the temp my car was reading outside. Where do they mount the sensor and how does it account for wind chill when the car is in motion? Inquiring minds want to know!

You know, with the merger of XM and Sirius I notice one big difference. Not that it really "pisses me off" as such but there is no more "Boneyard" as far as I can tell. Don't think I'll get Eddie Trunk (liked the Monday interviews), HATE the damn "Hair Nation" moniker that has not taken over station 41 (although the music was really good and I even had a "stay in the car in the driveway" moment tonight when Locked In came on) but what I miss most of all? Some fine lass saying "Bone me!" as a filler / advert for the Boneyard between songs! HAAAA!!!!
