One of my uncle's made the same mistake you did and bought one of macbooks. He told me during Thanksgiving that he was going to send an email with a pic of a motorcycle he was trying to sell and found that he FIRST had to MOVE the photo out of iPhotos and onto the Desktop in order to attach it to the email. Re-diculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by paperflowers from Saturday, December 06, 2008 1:46:12 PM)

Yeah, we fell for it - what a mistake that was! I'm trying to convince him to at least put Windows on it.
These things are absolutely infuriating. I had to ask how to rename a file!

You bought a crackbook? Ohhhhh paper! I'm sorry to have read that! Quick! Sell it and buy a Gateway or a Dell at Best Buy when your man isn't looking!

Good one. He does like Best Buy. His birthday's next week and he's the type of guy that doesn't need anything because he already bought it himself.
BTW, I truly envy anyone running Vista.... I bought a MACBOOK 6mos ago

YES! A Best Buy or Newegg.com gift certificate. Trust me. As an IT nerd, there is nothing anyone can get me that doesn't make me question if it was the best bang for the buck. Plus, I can turn a Best Buy gift certificate into months if not years of happiness looking for bargains.

LOL....any suggestions for the IT guy who already has everything?
