Batten is an Ibanez endorsee and she does tap it, but it is a far more pleasant rendition. Kee Marcello (replaced John Norum in Europe) was the first I ever saw do it, and his was awesome as well. IIRC that was in 1986...
The dexterety is impressive,but Bumble is chromatic, and becomes rather mechanical after a while. I can't help but wonder how fried his tendons will be in 5 or 10 years....
