More accurately, I have a big floppy "Gilligan" hat that I leave out on the patio for just such nasty weather. My glasses are made of that flexon material that you can literally wrap around your finger and never have it loose shape or break and, best yet, the ice makes it REALLY easy to drag a dog off a deck and out onto the lawn! Oh, no worries about Calvin or myself. We are warm and toasty inside. Calvin is a TN mutt with longer hair. NINA is the problem. Had to lasso her and take her kicking and screaming (well, yelping) outside to do her "business" that I didn't want to inherit (heh...good Rodney / Easy Money joke). Good thing she is a rat terrier. Easy to drag!

*yikes* Stay indoors, guido! And make sure Calvin "does his business" in the proper facilities! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool and clear here in Vegas. Was windy today and is going to be in the mid-30's (F) overnight. Brrr..... Still better than snow and ice, though!

Storm warnings out all over this area. MASSIVE ice storm that started yesterday is still going on.
Odd, as I see that they are finally closing the roof in Melbourne due to the heat! Strange woman, that Mother Nature.
