Hi Mike,
that's nice from you. Thanks. Hey, never I have said I don't like the states. There a lot of places I want to see some day. Maine in the spring and in the summer, the bay of Seattle, LA, San Francisco aso..... To stay there? With an angel without wings, of course! But I have find an angel like this and she's living in the UK.
The angel from the states, well, she's got wings now. I really like my hometown and never before I want to live on another place (I'm living here since November 1969). I want to leave Germany for her (you know her) and I want to stay with her in states, but that's history. That why I have said I don't want to come to live alone there. To come for a visit it's another thing. | | ronhartsell wrote: | | One thing I like to tell folks about Chicago is that it's a great place to visit, but you really don't want to live there, and I think the same thing can be said about a lot of places...I love going to concerts and sporting events and festivals and all that goes on in the 'Windy City', but I love coming home back to Indiana...I literally live 5 minutes away from the Chicago border...lower property taxes, city taxes, state taxes, lower crime rate, blah, blah, blah...but having Chicago and all it has to offer in my front yard is priceless, and I'm sure you all could same the same thing about big cities where you live... | | Phantom A6 wrote: | | Ya, I can imagine it, but just for a visit 'Cause I think I have
discovered my real roots. No, that's not strange, it's the right way. | | ronhartsell wrote: | | Either way, I think you would find the Chicago area a pretty cool place to hang out!! | | Phantom A6 wrote: | | Hmm... I think I know what you mean, but that's not only my decision. Sometimes I'm think it's to late. I think you know what I mean. | | ronhartsell wrote: | | I'm not sure, I'll find out though, he was in the Army, so it could have been anywhere...as far as coming to the States alone, not if I'm around!! Google a map of the States and I'll show you where I'm at, and I'll show you where you want to be, it's not really far apart!! | | Phantom A6 wrote: | | No Ron, I don't. I want it this year, you know why.
I don't want to go in the states alone. I want to go back later to England. Thinking about to stay there. Where in Germany your brother was living?
