HAAAA!!!! Nice theory. Try that in rural Tennessee. This place really makes me sick as to how little anyone cares or CAN recycle! Absolutely nothing when I first arrived from Michigan (stupid me asked where the closest recycling center was so as to take back all the boxes I got from mine in MI so as to move) and is only now moving to a trailer where we can throw aluminum cans for the Boy Scouts.
Batteries? HAA! Plastics? Forget it. GLASS??? I'd have to drive 2.5 hours to have a hope of finding some place to take such items. Been driving around for a week+ with a ton of cardboard products in my car as there is now one place 20 minutes from here that will take it...only during certain hours. I RECYCLE ALL BATTERIES...JUST THINK OF THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSE TO THE ENVIRONMENT WHEN THROWN INTO LANDFILL ...JUST A SUGGESTION: IF YOU DON'T HAVE A STORE AT PERESENT THAT TAKES THEM,TRY CALLING YOUR LOCAL WASTE FACILITY OR KEEPING THEM IN A BOX UNTIL YOU CAN FIND A PLACE THAT WILL TAKE YOUR BATTERIES OR UNTIL YOUR MUNICIPALITY DOES A SPECIAL GARBAGE COLLECTION FOR MATERIALS SUCH AS THIS,ALMOST
ALL AREAS DO NOW!...
