Not familiar with the first one but, it is nothing like "Ghost Whisperer"! That is a phony, drama series with actors and a script. Ghost Hunters is an actual business (TAPS) that do this as a "service" for people. The two main characters are actually plumbers during the day for a well-known company here called "Roto Rooter". It airs on Wednesday nights so I usually record all the episodes and watch them Thursdays. Some of the stuff is fairly entertaining. Some is rather useless. It is a nice escape and a unique show. They approach it as a "reality" show, so there is no lame dialogue or stiff acting (for the most part). Certainly better than more than half of what television offers these days! I enjoy it. Anyway, getting ready to start the next episode so I am off. I will check in later!
