I agree mate i always wanted to know why they never played any Ripper Material with Halford i mean after all tracks like, One on One, Hell is Home, Burn in Hell, Cathedral Spires and Bullet Train are fantastic tracks it aint as if he wrote the songs lol. I know what you mean about experimentation, KK should go back to the solo's like Sinner and Victim of Changes and Glenn could stick to his beautifully written melodic solo's like Beyond the Realms of Death and Touch of Evil. As for Turbo, i love the album, the first half is a fantastic array of tracks i mean Out in the Cold is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion and Locked in is one of my all time favourites. If you can't headbang to Private property there is something wrong with you lol and Rock you all around the world has some killer riffage! As for Ram it Down i think people would love it more if it was Holland playing all of the tracks. they even played the title track live on the RID tour and yet on the album they used a drum machine cause you can tell by the sound. Hard as Iron remains one of my favourite tracks to this day definately the best on the album. I think Love Zone and Blood Red Skies are awesome too but the solos in the title track i have to agree can't be any better, some of the best guitar work i have ever heard them do and Halford's screams literally perforate your ear drums absolute class. I wasn't dissing RID i was just merely stating that was when i was born and stating that unfortunately i never saw them live in the 80's. I love the two Ripper albums dearly and Sin after Sin, POE has 5 great tracks on which are, Heading out to the Highway, Hot Rockin', Desert Plains, Solar Angels and You Say Yes. The rest are ok but those tracks i love. I do need to listen to Sin after Sin more though i reckon!   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by icecreamman from Tuesday, February 24, 2009 4:47:58 PM)
