Sounds like a friendly competition, and one that will never bore you over the years! LOL
I had a Husky many years ago and when she was little she would run behind the couch, but there was a piece of door trim on the other side and she couldn't fit. So she would bark till I got up and moved the couch out. No sooner than I would put it back she would do the same thing again. So I got smart and left the couch pulled out several inches to aviod this, she still went behind the couch and barked because it was "her game"! Calvin is just SUCH a sweetheart that he lets her get away with murder. I give both a bone and she takes his. He goes for hers and she takes that one. She grabs something Calvin REALLY wants and Calvin could take it easily and she knows it so heads under my bed (where there are more dogtoys than anything else). Barking fight ensues as he can't fit.
However, in an open fight she goes for his legs while he can just full-on roll her. After all, he has her by 20 lbs. He merely flops on her and she has no fight other than scratching (hmm....reminds me of old girlfriends...but I digress...LOL!). |
