My step-son lived for feeding days!  bring home tiny mice and watch the whole event.  Later, was at a friends house.  Harley was 6.  There was a little chick in their enclosure.  Needless to say, the python went hungry until they could get another chick ... lol  And we kept the chick for a couple of days 'til I convinced Harley it was part of the "circle of life"   and it was best that we feed the snake

She did let me show it to the children and let them pet it though. Soon after that "Monty" went back to the pet store because the only reason I had him is my idiot cousin had lost him in my house and I finally found him in the christmas tree. LOL
