Sounds reasonable. There would still be some, in it for the thrill of the chase, that would prolly find a way around the system; and, there is that distasteful element requiring the creation of yet another governmental entity (no pun intended-lol). Never a perfect world, but a step in the right direction. imo

Bev, your right. not to mention all the efforts to reduce prostitution, to move it to a more paletable area, to control it. what about this. legalize it, licence it, test for aids (and other things) and make them pay taxes. if you eliminate the criminal aspect, you eliminate most of the problems, and create a revenue stream for the govt.

look at the fund raising to treat aids in africa. huge. you would think it was the number one killer there. nope. rising at a rate it will be. nope. Malaria kills more people in africa than Aids. Famine and war are also ahead. but, which gets more funding?

we need a feel good cause, and a fear cause. children are the feel good, there are a host of fear causes. global warming, cancer, aids....

Worse yet, there are literally millions and millions of suffering children AND adults all over the world that have it rough. Who is the guy (or gal) that decides what form of suffering is more signifcant than the other??????????
