If they are that's just ridiculous ... I know they like to look at 'em, but, when it comes to the nitty-gritty ... some like perky, some like it natural (thank whatever spirit moves 'em). If that were the case, I'd definitely be the cleaning woman!!! | | MG_Metalgoddess wrote: | | LMAO... Yeah pretty soon everyone will need a boob lift.. just to get a job..... | | Bev wrote: | | You said "whore" ... you know how that upsets me All kidding aside. Think the same guy that thought of the topless flight attendants, saving the airline industry, would work well as head of the dept ... | | Head banger wrote: | | LOL and a govt dept in charge of sex might be worse than the hells angels. I just proposed a pro govt stance. what is the world coming too? sure, there would always be a few that get around the issue, but the majority would be in the red light district, or a govt whore house. I would name it the Govt whorehouse of (whatevertown). said whorehouse or red light district would be beter for the girls than working dark streets in some warehouse district.
Strat, I see. think it might be that it is harder to cure. we always need a cause to rally against | | Bev wrote: | | Sounds reasonable. There would still be some, in it for the thrill of the chase, that would prolly find a way around the system; and, there is that distasteful element requiring the creation of yet another governmental entity (no pun intended-lol). Never a perfect world, but a step in the right direction. imo | | Head banger wrote: | | your sugesting aids is a more popular cure than the others?
Bev, your right. not to mention all the efforts to reduce prostitution, to move it to a more paletable area, to control it. what about this. legalize it, licence it, test for aids (and other things) and make them pay taxes. if you eliminate the criminal aspect, you eliminate most of the problems, and create a revenue stream for the govt. | | _strat_ wrote: | | Maybe its because of the solutions? I mean, the solution to famine is more food. The solution to war is somehow achieving peace. Thats fine. Solution to AIDS... No sex? | | Head banger wrote: | | its all about what is popular, it has nothing to do with actualy saving anyone, just popularity. kids raise money. it causes fear.
look at the fund raising to treat aids in africa. huge. you would think it was the number one killer there. nope. rising at a rate it will be. nope. Malaria kills more people in africa than Aids. Famine and war are also ahead. but, which gets more funding?
we need a feel good cause, and a fear cause. children are the feel good, there are a host of fear causes. global warming, cancer, aids.... | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | My apologies upfront to the liberal, tree-hugging bleeding hearts among us (you know who you are) but this is what is (again) PISSING me Off!!!;
I just saw yet another commercial on television for one of those "feed the poor children of Africa" organizations. You know the ones..some grim faced, nearly weeping woman or a guy with glasses and a scraggly, grey beard is in front of the camera going on about how these poor, helpless kids are suffering and don't know where their next meal is coming from and need YOUR help now. WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!
To begin with, why is it that children are so friggin special?? What is it with people that makes them consider children a more important form of human life than adults???? Why should I consider a child's life more valuable or more significant than, say, a twenty-six year old girl in Bolivia that has to prostitute herself to feed her seven illegitimate kids and four grandparents??? Where is the organization for them?? And what about the drug lord that has been devastated by the "War on Drugs" and had his cartel nearly dismantled and cannot pay for his wife's lipo and his hooker's apartment?? Why are they left out of all this??? WHERE IS THE EQUITY????
Every country has poverty. Worse yet, there are literally millions and millions of suffering children AND adults all over the world that have it rough. Who is the guy (or gal) that decides what form of suffering is more signifcant than the other?????????? |
