Spring Break is unheard of around here because they always lose the days to snow days.
However! I a strange turn of events our Bland County Lady Bears actually went to the state basketball championships and won today!
So school was out today so as many as could make it would be there to cheer the girls on! AND the girls won!
Bland 52 vs. The Narrows Green Wave at 43! Strangely enough their competetors are just from the next county!
It's been 30 years these two teams squared off against each other in a state championship!
Just to Celebrate, Bland County is closed tomorrow as well! Shame they have to make those 2 days up just like snow days.
