Not to say I have never been an ass about it. when it was new I was not adjusting well at all, but now, I feel it is the most natural and healthy thing for her. Heck even me and my X can sit and have dinner together and never get on each other's nerves.
Time heals everything. | | Becks wrote: | | That's great that even though you and your daughters father may not get along, you still have good ties with the rest of his family and it's also great your daughter can go there every year to spend time with that side of her family. Sounds like it all works out pretty well. | | spapad wrote: | | Yep, and my daughter goes there almost every year. She gets to be with her family there. That is awesome! I wish they would come this way every now and again more often, because, I divorced my husband not his family, and I am still considered by my neice and nephew their aunt. They still love me and the family still loves me. I just couldn't get along with their son, brother whatever. I still have good ties with the family there. | | Becks wrote: | | That's awesome that you had family there, like you said, it gives you a special experience most people don't have! | | spapad wrote: | | I was like that when I went to Greece. I could have spent all day taking in the sites of so many monuments, but my husband at the time felt it to be old hat for him. Grow up around it and you don't appreciate it. I took 30 rolls of film while there for 5 weeks. I was very determined to get all I could recorded. I loved being there and the fact I had family there just made it that much sweeter. Got to see a side of the country most don't see. | | Becks wrote: | | Cheers Spa! It really is a fabulous place, I love it. Scotland is rich in history and is beautiful. London is an awesome city, for those in to history I very highly recommend the Tower of London, it's mind bogglingly fantastic LOL. We EASILY spent half a day there, we had to leave cos it was closing time | | spapad wrote: | | Awesome Pics Beck. Would love to go there someday! Fabulous! |
