Just saw a friggin' tv commercial announcing "less commercials!" AAAAARGH!!! FEWER commercials!!!! Do these people not need a small amount of English to write a damn two word ad?
It is easy, fewer = quantifiable noun. Can you put a number in front of it? FEWER!
Less = non-quantifiables. Which sounds right, 1 money or 1 commercial? LESS MONEY, FEWER COMERCIALS!!!!!!!
