yeah, thats good too. a hot dish, if called for that I like is honey garlic wings. equal parts honey and light soy sauce, and a bunch of rough choped garlic in a pot. put wings in to simmer for 20 min (roughly) they will look a dark dark red. easy and tasty, reheats well.
since that much honey is expensive, I freeze and reuse the sauce next time, just top it up a bit each time [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Friday, April 03, 2009 3:58:28 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Good idea HB. I was either going to be domestic and do some baking, or just pick something up from the supermarket on the way there LOL! | | Head banger wrote: | | you want a hot or cold dish? | | Becks wrote: | | Morning everyone! A lovely saturday morning here. My cats are harassing me for food so I best go do that, then I'm off for a run. Then this afternoon I have a wives and girlfriends of guys in Afghanistan meetup, I need to take a plate of food but I don't know what, LOL!
Hope everyone has a great day! |
