Well, in that case, Im sorry. I thought you meant EJC, who has a profile that some people think is offensive, and he is getting a lot of shit for it in a thread that has nothing to do with it othervise. I do not care about anyone's "profile" nor am I interested in who is arguing with whom. In fact, I believe I said in my post that those regulars who do not care for the topic or participants could simply avoid posting in it, did I not?? You would be free NOT to participate, see? Rather than the reverse where ANY cretin can make a rude comment and proceed to alienate him or herself from the group, this would be a Thread where those of us that do not have interest in another's sexual antics (or whatever) could be spared the discussion. | | _strat_ wrote: | | Well, we could have a very long discussion on what is stupid and what isnt... Some would say that Kmac the second is a stupid thread, some (like me) wouldnt see anything wrong with "master of cunniligilis" in a user profile.
And if we are really open for different opinions, then I dont see why EJC has to be lynched for his profile. | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | I am referring to ALL of it, strat. "Language filtering"...? Do you really believe that is what I meant? Good Lord, I was really hoping I would not have to go on in detail! This is not about "free speech", my friend. This is about the right to have a place where we can gather and share without stupidity. That includes all of this bickering nonsense! NOT just foul language or sexual discussion (which, by the way, does NOT have a place here) Of course , THAT is my opinion as well. You will notice I do NOT post in the "Thong" Threads.

If you are refering to the Priest tickets sale thread, I already posted what I think about it there. No thank you - if there is anything we dont need is more language filtering.

Ah! Good Afternoon, folks! So nice and quiet in here. No idiotic babble and foul, distasteful rhetoric! You know, I have been thinking about this and I wonder if there is a way that Murray can set it up so that a Thread can be created and the person that does so can "ban" certain people from posting in it? Perhaps require the creator to "approve" who posts in it? That way, we could simply open a Thread and allow the regulars a place to chat without moronic, random profanity and losers that cannot control their adolescent behavior. Those new members that come here and act in a civilized manner could "request" entry into the Thread and those regulars that do not care for the topic or participants could simply continue to post in the other Threads.....
He managed to do the "Respect Points" thing and that , unfortunately, has not been entirely effective. Short of mods (which is NOT going to happen) this would at least give us sanctuary from the lower forms of life. Too much to ask?
